Young or old, man or woman, rich or poor: the consequences of Covid-19 are affecting us all. To support our heroes on the front line, the King Baudouin Foundation has set up a fund for all hospitals and residential care establishments: the Fund for Supportive Care. As a socially aware company, Siemens would like to contribute to this. In these times of ‘social distancing’ we more than ever want to stress connectivity and commitment! Because Siemens is above all a team – even during lockdown – we want to provide extra support for this good cause in the shape of a joint effort, which will also have a positive impact on your physical and mental wellbeing. Collect money by walking, running or cycling. Alone or with members of your household. Our target is to cover a distance of 50,000 km together! We hope this will contribute €20,000 in sponsorship. If we achieve the target, Siemens will donate (at most) twice as much to the international Siemens Caring Hands Funds, because COVID-19 is not limited to national borders.
